Fill the mat with cool tap water through the fill port, give it a shake and it sets into a gel pad that feels cool to lie on. No fridge, no freezer, no power needed. For best results, keep it out of direct sun.

Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild soap, then let it air dry. Store it flat or loosely rolled.

Like any bed or mat, it's best used with a bit of supervision at first, especially with puppies and dogs who like to chew. If the cover gets torn, take the mat away. It isn't a treatment for heatstroke. On very hot days, shade, fresh water and a call to your vet if you're worried still come first.
