Fill the mat with cool tap water through the fill port, give it a shake and it sets into a cool gel pad. No fridge, no freezer, no power needed. For best results, keep it out of direct sun.

Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild soap, then let it air dry. Store it flat or loosely rolled.
Like any bed or mat, it's best used with a bit of supervision at first, especially with puppies and dogs who like to chew. If the cover gets torn, take the mat away. It isn't a treatment for heatstroke. On very hot days, shade, fresh water and a call to your vet if you're worried still come first.

Dogs don't cool down the way we do. They rely mostly on panting and on finding a cool surface to lie on. That's why, come January, you'll find them sprawled on the bathroom tiles, the laundry floor, or wherever there's shade and concrete. The trouble is that tiles warm up as the day goes on, and they aren't much fun to lie on for long.

Most dogs already go looking for cool spots, so putting the mat where they like to rest usually does the trick. Some take a day or two to warm up to anything new. A familiar blanket or a treat nearby can help.
Measure your dog lying down, nose to base of tail, and pick a mat at least that long. Between sizes? Go up.

I bought it for my rabbit, it's excellent. Besides keeping it cool, it's also a great material; I obviously recommend putting a small cloth on top due to their habit of biting, licking, and digging. I have an older rabbit so it takes a while for them to get used to it, but it provides relief from the heat.

This is my third purchase. This time I bought two. I have two Golden Retrievers, both 32 kg, and they are 8 and 6 years old. I have been purchasing and using them every year, and it's half the price of buying them domestically! Although it's a bit inconvenient to have to add water directly, the cost-performance ratio is really good ^^ I quickly got used to the trick of adding water. Just lay the pad down, add water, and press it evenly, and it all goes in well. Before adding water, there's something that looks like powder, but it seems to turn into a gel-like substance when you add water. It seems like domestic products use a similar principle. When you throw away an old pad, it comes out like a gel.
I have currently purchased a total of 4 items, installing two each alternately. I am 100% willing to repurchase as this is an item that is necessary for dogs every year. I bought a product that I really like at a great price. Highly recommended!

I am raising two golden retrievers, and I can't do without a cooling pad in the summer. I've been buying and using them for several years in Korea, and although it can be a bit of a hassle to add water yourself, the price is much more reasonable and cost-effective than in Korea. That's why I ordered two more! Oh! If you add too much water, it can be uncomfortable due to the weight. Just follow the instructions in the manual and press evenly as you add water; overall, it feels nice and cool. ^^
Our dog is a 32-kilo Golden Retriever. The size is the same as the one we previously bought domestically, and the material is good. You need to add water yourself, but it's much cheaper compared to the price range. I'm planning to buy more. I've been using the cooling pad for 6 years already, and it's perfect if used properly. Great value for money!
